This particular type of printing uses polymer material plates to apply each individual color to the stock material. Here at Atlanta Label, we make these plates in-house and pass the savings to our customers. The setup for flexographic print jobs can be time-consuming even for a seasoned professional, but the benefits after setup can be tremendous. Our largest press can handle up to 9 colors, almost no minimum size, and maximum sizes up to 12 ½ inches (wide) by 23 inches (repeat/height). Some benefits of flexographic printing presses are:

- Posses faster speeds and turn around times on large print runs (Compared to most digital options)

Digital Printing Options
Unlike flexographic printing, digital printing does not need to use plates. Our in-house art department modifies the provided files to the required specs and sends it directly to the printing press. This lack of setup makes digital printing ideal for short run jobs. Digital presses do make up for their lack of setup costs with having a slightly higher cost per unit, so that is why flexographic presses are the preferable choice for large jobs. Our digital presses posses CMYK dry toner technology, are incredibly consistent, and offer options for variable data and versioning. They can roughly handle 6 - 13 inch wide print jobs and allow for a repeat of 18 inches for anything die cut (And much larger repeats for anything not needing a die cut). The benefits of our digital printing options can be summed up as follows:
